Encuadernación de época Victoriana con grabados e ilustraciones de Gustave Doré. Es un libro antiguo traducido del Italiano al Inglés por Henry Francis Cary. No se especifica el año en el que fue publicado, pero se puede estimar que fue a finales del siglo XVIII. Para los años que tiene este libro se conserva en buen estado. (ver fotos)

Decorated brown cloth stamped in black and gilt. 183 pp.with 75 full-page illustrated plates and a frontispiece from Gustave Dore (1832-1883). Patterned endpapers.The gilt on the text block’s edges is largely worn off. Corners bumped with some loss of cloth. Head and tail of spine worn with some loss. Light tearing to the paper part of front inner hinge/joint, but binding remains tight. Age-toning to paper. No names or marks.
