One priority of the Fundación Amigos del Museo del Prado is the publication of these explanatory guides to the major artists whose work is on display in the Prado Museum.

The aim of these guidebooks is to help visitors to broaden their knowledge of the works on display by means of quality texts which are accompanied by illustrations that lead to the immediate identification of each work.
